CHESHMEH ALBORZ
The interior design of Cheshmeh Alborz aimed to create a cultural and retail destination accommodating a variety of spaces for books and cultural products. Raya was responsible for designing all areas of the complex, from the main bookstore to the children’s and young adult sections and other retail spaces. The design approach focused on creating a cohesive experience while responding to the distinct character of each function. The main challenge was integrating different functions within a shared environment while preserving the individual identity of each area. In response, spatial planning, materials, colors, and architectural elements were tailored to the activities and audiences of each section. Brick and wood define the main bookstore, while distinctive colors and details characterize the children’s and young adult areas, creating a diverse yet coherent environment.
